1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, donating, or otherwise using Kenya Diaspora Governance Initiative (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Purpose of the Platform

The Platform exists to enable Kenyans at home and in the diaspora to transparently fund the political campaigns of vetted Kenyan aspirants, track disbursements, and participate in chapter governance.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. You confirm that any funds you contribute are lawfully obtained and that your contribution complies with the campaign-finance laws of Kenya and of your country of residence.

4. Account Registration and KYC

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information up to date. Accounts are subject to Know-Your-Customer (KYC) review and may be suspended or terminated if information is found to be false or incomplete.

5. Donations and Refunds

All contributions are voluntary. Once processed, donations are generally non-refundable. Refund requests for duplicate or erroneous transactions must be submitted within 14 days of the transaction.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Platform to launder money, finance illegal activity, harass other users, post unlawful content, or attempt to compromise the security of the Platform.

7. Communications

By registering, you consent to receive transactional and service-related communications from us by email, SMS, and in-app notifications. Marketing and campaign-update messages are sent only if you opt in, and you may unsubscribe at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kenya Diaspora Governance Initiative is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
